Route details
Our guide/driver will meet you at the airport or your hotel in Kigali, and your day will begin with a visit to the genocide memorial center.
After that, you’ll head to Musanze, Rwanda's second-largest town, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the five Virunga volcanoes.
Upon arriving at the Red Rocks Intercultural Exchange Center, you’ll have lunch before learning about the brewing process of a local banana beer alongside local brew makers. If you're intrigued, you can participate in extracting juice from the bananas and enjoy a glass of fresh juice (optional). You'll also discover how long it takes for the juice to ferment into alcohol after adding sorghum flour.
Feel free to savor a large glass of our local brew if you wish! Additionally, this community engages in basket weaving, which provides financial support to local families. Later, you will be driven to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
