Route details

Day 1
Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

A personal guide and a 4WD safari vehicle will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali. Begin your day by visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Following this, leave Kigali and travel northwest through Rwanda's verdant hills and vibrant market towns on a picturesque 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park, renowned for Dian Fossey's research on mountain gorillas.

Overnight: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or a similar accommodation.

It's important to know

Cancellation of booking

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
