Route details

After an early breakfast at your lodge in Kigali, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Virunga National Park.

Your guide will ensure you arrive at the Grande Barriere border crossing by 11:00 AM to check in at the Virunga NP tourism office, conveniently located in the Grande Barriere border post building, opposite passport control. You will also complete the border clearance process. Once checked in, you will be transferred to Kibumba, Virunga NP, where you'll spend the night at Kibumba Tented Camp or a similar accommodation.

It's important to know

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
