To take part in the Rwanda Gorilla Trekking, you need to purchase a Gorilla Trekking ticket for an additional USD $1,500, or you can opt for the alternative Golden Monkey Trekking Tour.

The day begins with an early morning breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Kinigi park headquarters for a trekking briefing. After that, you'll hike into the rainforest to find a troop of stunning mountain gorillas. Each troop is monitored by a dedicated guard 24 hours a day, ensuring their location is known. You will typically spend about an hour with them, allowing you to closely observe their behavior.

After this experience, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for an overnight stay at Travelers Rest Hotel or a similar accommodation.

Following an early morning breakfast, you'll be taken to the ranger station for a briefing on the guidelines for interacting with gorillas. After this, a senior ranger guide will accompany you as you hike into the forest in search of these magnificent creatures. Once located, you'll typically have an hour to sit and observe them from a distance of about 10 meters.

After this unforgettable experience, you'll return to the lodge for the night at Travelers Rest Hotel or a similar accommodation.

After a relaxed breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Kigali, bidding farewell to the stunning forest where the gorillas reside, concluding your Rwanda-Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour Experience.

Once you arrive in Kigali, your driver-guide will be informed about the drop-off location, whether at your hotel or the airport, in accordance with your departure schedule. End.
