At 4:30 AM, enjoy an early breakfast or opt for a packed breakfast.

After that, meet with the ranger guide in Gisakura, followed by a transfer to either Cyamudongo or the Uwinka visitor center to start chimpanzee tracking. This will be followed by a canopy walk beginning at the Uwinka visitor center before returning to the lodge.

Overnight stay at Ken Berham Guesthouse or a similar accommodation.

Following an early breakfast, we'll go on a journey along the lakeside to the breathtaking Virunga mountains, which span the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This region is home to half of the world's Mountain Gorilla population, with the other half residing in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda.

Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is considered one of the premier destinations for gorilla trekking, with trekking permits costing significantly more—often double or triple—compared to other locations. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way at Lake Kivu before checking into Volcanoes National Park.

Overnight accommodations will be at Gorillas Hotel or a similar establishment.

To take part in the Rwanda Gorilla Trekking today, you need to purchase a Gorilla Trekking ticket for an additional fee of $1,500, or you can opt for the alternative Bosoke Volcano Hike.

The day will begin with an early breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Kinigi park headquarters for a trekking briefing. After that, you'll hike into the rainforest to encounter a troop of stunning mountain gorillas. Each troop is monitored by a dedicated guard around the clock, ensuring their location is known. You'll typically spend an hour with them, allowing you to observe them up close.

After this experience, you'll return to the lodge for the night, staying at Gorillas Hotel or a similar accommodation.

Following an early breakfast, head back to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for the Golden Monkey Trekking. This trekking can be scheduled for before noon or by 1 PM at the latest.

Afterward, transfer to Bwindi or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in preparation for your second Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Uganda.

Overnight accommodations will be at Travelers Rest Hotel or a similar establishment.

Following an early morning meal, you will head to the ranger station for a briefing on the guidelines for interacting with gorillas.

After this, a senior ranger guide will accompany you as you trek into the forest in search of these magnificent animals. Once located, you will have the opportunity to spend an hour with them.

After your encounter, you will return to the lodge for the night, staying at Travelers Rest Hotel or a comparable accommodation.

After a relaxed breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Kigali, bidding farewell to the stunning forest and volcanic mountains that are home to the gorillas, marking the conclusion of the Trip.

Once you arrive in Kigali, your driver guide will be informed of the drop-off location, whether at your hotel or the airport, in accordance with your departure schedule. This concludes your journey.
