Often called the “Coca-Cola Route” or “Tourist Route”, the Marangu Route is the most popular path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Known for its comfortable sleeping huts, complete with mattresses, pillows, and dining halls, it’s the easiest and most gradual ascent, making it ideal for first-time climbers. Starting from the southeast at Marangu Gate, the 5-day trek offers a scenic and steady climb. While it’s less strenuous, only 35% reach the summit due to under-preparation. The descent follows the same trail, sometimes making it feel busier. Its shorter distance to Moshi also makes it a more budget-friendly option.

The cost of the tour depends on the number of people in the group. Please check the current rates for your chosen dates at the time of booking.
