The 7-day Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and rewarding treks on Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting on the remote western slopes, it winds through lush rainforest, mysterious heather zones, and up the dramatic Barranco Wall. This route merges with the Machame Route midway, offering stunning views and a rich variety of landscapes. Its longer approach allows better altitude acclimatization, making it a favorite among climbers. Though it can be completed in 7 days, we highly recommend the 8-day option for a more comfortable pace and improved success rate.
