Two summits, thin ridges, cold camp nights, and a trail that leaves no room for rushing — this trek is a compact but serious mountain challenge in Khun Jae National Park. It is made for experienced hikers who want remote wilderness, exposed terrain, and the kind of views that feel earned step by step.
The route starts from the Radar Base and climbs toward Doi Pha Ngom through rocky ground, tall grass, steep slopes, and narrow ridgelines. From there, the journey moves deeper into the Phi Pan Nam Range, with a pre-dawn hike to the summit of Doi Lang Luang at 2,031 m. Sunrise reveals a wide sweep of peaks, including Doi Pha Ngom, Doi Mod, Doi Inthanon, and, on clear days, Chiang Dao. The trail then continues through evergreen forest, pine woodland, grasslands, and small waterfalls toward Doi Lang Noi.
This is remote wilderness camping with basic conditions: no showers, no electricity, no mobile signal, and simple meals prepared for energy and warmth. Nights may be spent in tents or hammocks, depending on conditions. Come ready for steep climbs, cold ridge winds, and quiet camp nights — the reward is a mountain journey that proves exactly how far your own feet can take you!
