Distance: 12 km | Duration: 6–7 hrs
Begin your hike from Monodendri, descending into the Vikos Gorge while navigating gentle ascents and descents through forested slopes beneath towering limestone cliffs. Stop at the Voidomatis River springs, known as the coldest waters in Greece (around 9 ºC), perfect for a refreshing dip. Finish the hike ascending to Vikos village and continue to Papigko for a traditional dinner and overnight stay.
