Along the way, you’ll overnight in authentic mountain refuges, including the highest refuge in the Balkans at 2,650m, before taking on the final ascent to the Skolio summit (2,911m).

Distance: 10 km | Duration: 5–6 hours
Our adventure begins in Litochoro, where we set out for Dion, the starting point of the hike. The trail winds through dense pine, beech, and fir forests, offering shade and fresh mountain air as we gradually ascend. After covering 10 km, we reach the Petrostrougga Refuge, our first overnight stop on Olympus.
