Route details
Day 1
Monodendri – Vitsa – Koukouli – Kipoi – Dilofo
Distance: 15 km – Duration: 6–7 hrs
Enjoy a circular hike through charming villages and iconic stone bridges. Starting from Monodendri, follow the Vitsa Steps down to Misios Bridge in Vikos Gorge, continue to Koukouli and the graceful Kontodimos Bridge, then to Kipoi with its remarkable Plakida triple-arched bridge. Cross the Captain Arkoudas Bridge, visit the traditional village of Dilofo, and loop back through Vitsa before returning to Monodendri for the night.
