Begin your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Praia and a transfer to the Serra Malagueta hiking starting point. Meet your local guide and prepare to explore the scenic Principal Valley. As you walk downhill, admire the beautiful landscapes while learning about the local flora and fauna. You'll reach the first settlements, where traditional houses dot the canyon hillsides. Engage with the locals and experience their rural lifestyle as you stroll through fields of coconut palms, banana trees, tamarind, mango, and sugar cane.

Next, arrive in Mato Dento, where you can enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the community. After your hike, visit a local restaurant for refreshing fruit juices. Finally, conclude your journey with a scenic hour-long drive back to your accommodation in Praia.
