Route details
Arrival at the southern shore of Lake Traunsee in Ebensee, either by car or public transport. In winter, the local mountain Feuerkogel shows its most dazzling side with a wide high plateau offering one of Austria’s most diverse ski and hiking areas.
If your arrival is before early February, you can experience the charming Ebenseer Kripperlroas: a walk from house to house discovering eight large nativity scenes in private homes, the Catholic parish church, and the local museum. At your hotel, you’ll receive the nativity map, your travel documents, and a warm welcome.
