The Dachstein mountains rise like stone cathedrals above Salzburg’s Pongau region, where jagged peaks and alpine pastures create a landscape of timeless beauty. At their foot lies Filzmoos, a village famed for its mountain charm and culinary traditions—where refined flavors meet rustic alpine roots. This is where your journey begins.
Over four days, you’ll hike along historic trails once walked by shepherds and smugglers, crossing flower-filled meadows, larch forests, and dramatic limestone fields. The route leads past the jagged Bischofsmütze and beneath the sheer walls of the Hoher Dachstein, before descending through marmot-dotted pastures and panoramic ridges. Each stage reveals a new face of the mountains—wild, peaceful, and endlessly inspiring, and everything feels made only for you.
At night, the experience is as memorable as the days: from the gourmet half-board of a 4* hotel to rustic huts with terraces that open to glaciers and peaks. With luggage transfers taken care of and cozy overnight stays secured, you are free to simply walk, breathe, and savor. Join this journey of alpine beauty and regional flavors—where every step is a feast for both body and soul!
