What do you know about Tasmania?
A faraway island, yes, but also a land sculpted by wind, stone, and sea. Tasmania is wild and weathered, quiet yet alive. In the Off-Season, the light softens and gives rise to unforgettable sunsets. Waves hammer ancient cliffs. Rain drifts through forests older than memory. Here, you move through something timeless, as your thoughts and worries quietly drift away.
During this adventure, you’ll explore the best of the Tasman Peninsula: the towering dolerite spires of Cape Hauy, the wild cliff tops of Cape Raoul, the immense dunes and sweeping views from Mount Brown. You'll pass mountain hills, climb rugged stairways, descend to hidden bays, and stand where land breaks into ocean. Each day brings a different rhythm, a new challenge, and the kind of beauty that stirs something deep. Among ancient forests you'll also have a chance to see featuring towering clifftops, mesmerizing rock formations and distant views of Bruny Island and Maria Island.
Evenings are for warmth—unforgettable sunsets, comfortable cottages, and delicious dinners made by your guides. Join us on this journey—challenge yourself, feel the wild, and return home changed!

Route details
Nestled between the Remarkable Caves and Port Arthur, the Crescent Bay and Mount Brown track unveils one of the Tasman Peninsula’s most breathtaking shorelines. Beginning at the Remarkable Caves carpark, you’ll traverse rolling sand dunes draped in coastal heath—keep an eye out for a foraging echidna—and look back toward the dramatic silhouette of Cape Raoul. The path then spills into the yawning Maingon Blowhole before climbing the lower slopes of Mount Brown, where stone cairns mark your ascent.
The steep final push rewards you with sweeping vistas of Cape Pillar, Tasman Island, Arthur’s Peak, Cape Raoul and even Bruny Island on the horizon. On the return leg, the pristine sands and turquoise shallows of Crescent Bay provide a serene finale to the day’s walk. Afterward, relax at your lodge with pre‑dinner nibbles followed by a sumptuous two‑course meal crafted by your guides.
