We have made it our mission to find the most beautiful and epic hiking destinations all within a short drive from Melbourne. A VW Kombi van was the original adventurer. Her name was Olivia and was restored for maximum comfort on the road. Since these humble beginnings, we have introduced a few newer model VW Caravelles to the fleet. Our intimate, small group hiking tours have been designed for other like-minded folks who share the same enthusiasm, curiosity, and sense of respect for nature and the outdoors that we have. If that sounds like you, go ahead and explore our tours. We’d love to have you along for the ride. See you on the road!

Route details

Our first adventure of the day takes us on a 4.2 km return hike, winding through striking rock formations such as the Grand Canyon and Silent Street, before reaching The Pinnacle — the park’s most iconic lookout. From this jagged cliff face, you’ll have time to soak in the breathtaking views and capture unforgettable photos.

After the hike, we’ll pause for a tasty lunch at a local café or bakery, then continue to MacKenzie Falls. The 2 km trail is steep, but the reward is worth it — one of Victoria’s largest and most spectacular waterfalls. You might even want to dip your feet into the crisp mountain water for a refreshing break.

The journey continues to the scenic Boroka Lookout, offering sweeping views of Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield, and the Mt. William ranges. Before heading back to Melbourne, we’ll stop in the charming village of Halls Gap, where you’ll have the chance to spot kangaroos in one of their favorite gathering spots.

Had an incredible day exploring Mornington! The coastal trail offered stunning sea views, and soaking in the hot springs afterward was the perfect way to unwind. Our guides, Aaron and Andrew, were friendly, fun, and full of interesting insights, that was amazing! The pace was relaxed, giving us plenty of time to enjoy every moment. A perfect mix of nature, good company, and relaxation, so I highly recommend!

Our group was small, which made the experience even more personal. The hike up was a bit challenging in parts, but the views from the top and the waterfall made it totally worth it. Our guide, Andrew, was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. With perfect weather and amazing scenery, it was an unforgettable day - I can’t wait to return to the Grampians!

I joined this trip as a solo traveler and couldn’t be happier that I did. The guide was super friendly, played great music during the drive, and made sure everyone felt included. The whole group was lovely, and the views along the hike were absolutely breathtaking. Truly a memorable experience! :)
