Join us for a 4-night mid-week hiking and yoga retreat in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. Experience two guided hikes as you explore the breathtaking scenery of Brecon Beacons National Park. Each day will start and finish with yoga sessions, leaving you refreshed and revitalized after an active yet soothing retreat.

During our 4-night yoga retreat in Wales, you'll enjoy up to 3.5 hours of yoga each day, delectable vegan meals prepared by our talented chefs, and cozy accommodations that ensure you feel well taken care of throughout your stay.

You'll be staying at a family-owned estate with multiple properties that dates back to 1176, originally serving as a farm for the local monastery. The estate has undergone beautiful renovations to create a serene retreat environment.

Local activities include horse riding, canoeing, paddleboarding, additional hiking, or visiting the charming town of Hay on Wye, which is within walking distance.

Tour provider's comments

On our mid-week hiking yoga retreat in the Brecon Beacons, the classes are suitable for all abilities. From beginners to intermediate and advanced levels, everyone is welcome. Furthermore, our inspiring and experienced teachers are well-practised at adapting the class to everyone’s level. The yoga teacher will create a more dynamic class in the morning to get you ready for the day's hike and adventures.  Then, the evening class will be slightly longer to enable deep relaxation with yoga Nidra.

Hikes typically commence around 11:00 AM and conclude by 4:00 PM, subject to the overall fitness level of the group. One hike is from the venue and is a circular route with views, rivers, waterfalls and the second one is an intermediate level hike that requires a car share to get to the start point. If you are a novice hiker, we recommend acclimating yourself to hiking and building your endurance before joining us.

Converted Barns on an Estate

Located close to the literacy town of Hay-On-Wye, the property was once part of the farm serving a Cistercian monastery founded in 1176. Steeped in history the individual barns and buildings have been lovingly restored and updated to create a stunning home from home space.

Beautiful gardens create a multitude of private oases to relax in spread across the 4 individual buildings, each with their very own unique style and character, that we inhabit during our stay.

We have a choice of 6 single rooms with double beds and an ensuite bathroom, 3 single rooms with double beds with shared bathroom with 1 other room, a twin room with its own bathroom and a twin room with a shared bathroom with one other room. The Wheat Silo is a quirky accommodation for two people sharing a double bed and it has its own kitchen, bathroom and living space and stunning views of the Brecon Beacons.

The yoga studio is a beautiful, long barn conversion full of natural light and double doors that open up into the inner courtyard and the valleys beyond.
