Route details
Start your journey with an early breakfast in Entebbe, then meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing. Head to Mabamba Swamp, renowned as one of Uganda’s premier birdwatching spots and the best location to see the rare and prehistoric Shoebill Stork. Paddle through the swamp in a traditional canoe, on the lookout for this elusive bird and various other species.
Following your birdwatching adventure, proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can find wild rhinos. Established in 2005, the sanctuary has successfully reintroduced the Southern White Rhino, now with a flourishing population of over 40 individuals. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon, taking in the peaceful atmosphere of the reserve. Spend the night at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Guesthouse or a similar accommodation.

It's important to know
In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
