I was born and raised in Cascais, and this region has always been where I feel most at home, whether by the sea or in the mountains nearby. I started working as a sailing skipper at 18 and spent years guiding people on the water. Eventually, I found myself drawn back to the land, sharing the same passion for adventure through hiking, exploring, and discovering hidden places around Cascais and Sintra. After guiding for others, I decided it was time to do it on my own terms, creating adventures that feel personal, relaxed, and meaningful.

Route details

Join us on an unforgettable coastal hike that begins at the historic Abano Fort, a striking landmark with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. From there, we’ll hike the beautiful, rugged coastline, passing the famous Guincho Beach and following authentic fishermen's trails, all while enjoying spectacular viewpoints and the refreshing sea breeze. Experience the wild beauty of this distinctive Atlantic landscape.

This adventure comes with some thrilling challenges, including a few steep sections that add excitement, but rest assured, they are manageable for everyone, and we will support you throughout the journey.

If the weather permits, we’ll discover a true hidden treasure: either a natural ocean pool or a secluded beach adorned with smooth, uniquely shaped rocks. Both locations are extraordinary for a refreshing dip in crystal-clear waters. Please keep in mind that the descent to these special spots is steep and may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights, but the reward is a peaceful, untouched sanctuary away from the crowds.

We’ll conclude our adventure with a return along the coast, giving you time to reflect on your experience amidst the raw beauty of the Atlantic. This hike perfectly blends challenge, exploration, and relaxation—a memorable adventure that invites you to connect deeply with the wild spirit of the Atlantic.
