Your journey will take you across some of New Zealand’s most iconic and beautiful bouldering regions — each offering its own unique terrain and atmosphere. Explore the windswept coastal crags of Turakirae Head and Baring Head near Wellington, where sea meets stone. Discover the surreal limestone fields of Castle Hill Basin (Kura Tāwhiti), a UNESCO-listed landscape of spiritual and geological wonder.
In the North Island, climb among volcanic tuff and dense bush at Froggatt Edge and Wharepapa South, or the cinematic rocks of Waitomo. Further south, explore the sculptural outcrops of Elephant Rocks, the ocean-facing Long Beach near Dunedin, or the granite lines of Wanaka and Queenstown’s Jardines.
You choose how far you want to go — in location, technique and intensity. Routes are available for all levels, and our guides will help tailor the experience to your goals. Every stop is not just a climb, but a journey into Aotearoa’s natural and cultural heritage.
