The Djebel Saghro Adventure

After breakfast, board a minibus for a transfer to Ouarzazate, known as the film capital of Morocco.

Along the way, you'll traverse the historic Tichka Pass (2260m), a traditional caravan route connecting Marrakech to the southern regions via Telouat.

Enjoy lunch in Ouarzazate before continuing to the Berber village of Ait Youl (1350m), located in the heart of the Damascus Rose region at Kelaa M’gouna. Here, you'll meet your team of muleteers and embark on your first hike through semi-arid volcanic landscapes, making your way to Tidkit (1600m).

You'll spend the night camping under the stars.

Experience the terrain of the Ait Attas tribe in the dry expanses of the Anti-Atlas.

Ascend to the Tagourte Pass at 1900 meters, traversing a plateau adorned with natural Artemisia fields, offering breathtaking views of the M’goun range and the Dades Valley. Meet nomadic families and explore small villages nestled among almond tree orchards.

Continue your trek down the Assaka gorges to Ait Ouzine at 1600 meters, where you'll set up camp for the night.

• 5-hour hike, elevation gain of 300m, elevation loss of 300m.

Explore the Assaka Valley, where you'll find fields of barley, henna, and vibrant seasonal vegetables, alongside quaint earthen villages.

Wander through stunning gorges, towering cliffs, and jagged rocky peaks.

Your journey culminates at Tifdasine, where you'll set up camp for the night.

• Elevation: 1300m, 5-hour hike, descent: 300m.

Experience a breathtaking day filled with magnificent rocky peaks and breathtaking hills.

Arrive at the enchanting location of Igli, where tranquility echoes off the basalt walls.

Overnight camping.

• Elevation: 1800m, 5-hour hike, elevation gain: 500m.

Take on a gradual ascent to the peak of Mt Kouach (2500m), where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the southern slopes of M’goun, the Dades Valley, the Rose Valley, and the southern Moroccan region.

Afterward, descend to Boulil for lunch before proceeding to the village of Tagdilt (1700m).

Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a gîte.

Travel by minibus to Marrakech, enjoying lunch along the way.

Upon arrival at your hotel, you'll have dinner and spend the final night before departure.

You will be transferred back to Marrakech airport.
