Jebel Sirwa rises between two worlds: the High Atlas behind you, the Anti-Atlas ahead, and a volcanic massif cutting through the dry southern landscape like dark stone from another time.
This guided trek starts in Marrakech and leads to Tamlakout, where muleteers join the route and the first village walk brings you close to Berber mountain life. From there, the trail crosses desert plateaus, high pastures, old villages, and volcanic ridges toward Aït Tigga, Tachancht Pass, and the summit of Jebel Sirwa. The climb reaches 3,305 metres, with a short secure scramble near the top and wide views over mountains and desert plains.
The trek is moderate to challenging, with long walking days, some steep ascents and descents, and gradual acclimatisation. Main luggage is carried by mules, so you walk with only a daypack. Nights are spent in a riad or 3-star hotel in Marrakech, local homes or guesthouses in Tamlakout, and bivouac camps under open mountain skies. Join this trek to reach one of Morocco’s most striking and less-travelled summits!
