Route details

Begin your adventure with a transfer to Imlil (1740m), where you'll be introduced to your experienced trekking team.

Your hike will commence as you traverse Tizi n’Tamatert (2300m), taking in breathtaking panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. As you descend into the picturesque Imenane Valley, you'll pass through charming Berber villages such as Tamatert and Ouanesekra-Tamguist.

Conclude your day in Tinerhourhine (2200m), where you'll spend the night in a warm and inviting Berber guesthouse.

We went for a 5-day trekking in mid-January and it was amazing! We were lucky with nice sunny weather and good hiking conditions. Above all, we were very happy with the guiding and the great cooking. The guys were friendly and respectful, and we had some good laughs along the way, whilst we also learned a few words of Berber-Amazigh. We had three different stays in guest houses, starting very basic before getting more luxury later on. The communication upfront with Hamid was very smooth and punctual.

From start to finish the whole service from Imlil trekking was fantastic. Hamid helped make the most of the time we were there. The hike and views were stunning and this was capped off with a great lunch provided at his house, even going the extra mile to accommodate a vegetarian option at late notice for my wife. Thanks again Hamid!!!
