Route details

Begin your adventure with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Marrakech to Imlil. Along the way, you have the option to enjoy a camel ride in Rha Mly Brahim, where you can take in the stunning riverbed and mountain views.

Upon arriving in Imlil, check in at a charming Berber guesthouse. You’ll then set out on a short acclimatization hike to the village, located at an elevation of 2,000 meters. This hike will take you through the beautiful Tidli Forest, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Ait Mizane Valley and the majestic Mount Toubkal.

After your hike, return to the village for dinner, followed by an overnight stay in a traditional Berber guesthouse.

We went for a 5-day trekking in mid-January and it was amazing! We were lucky with nice sunny weather and good hiking conditions. Above all, we were very happy with the guiding and the great cooking. The guys were friendly and respectful, and we had some good laughs along the way, whilst we also learned a few words of Berber-Amazigh. We had three different stays in guest houses, starting very basic before getting more luxury later on. The communication upfront with Hamid was very smooth and punctual.

From start to finish the whole service from Imlil trekking was fantastic. Hamid helped make the most of the time we were there. The hike and views were stunning and this was capped off with a great lunch provided at his house, even going the extra mile to accommodate a vegetarian option at late notice for my wife. Thanks again Hamid!!!
