Mont Blanc, the Roof of Europe, attracts hikers from all over the world — but few know how to experience its wildest and quietest corners. This short and intense two-day hiking adventure offers you the chance to see Mont Blanc’s glaciers and peaks far from the crowds, spending one magical night in a traditional mountain lodge at 2500 meters.
We’ll stay at the Deffeyes Shelter, in a spectacular setting near the Ruitor Glacier. The hike unfolds through alpine lakes, waterfalls, and panoramic ridges overlooking the Mont Blanc massif.
At sunset, the glacier turns pink under the last rays of light — an unforgettable natural show. The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we’ll explore a loop trail through hidden alpine valleys before returning to La Thuile.
