Check out from the hotel (you can leave your large luggage at the hotel consignee) and transfer to stay at a Toraja local family house.

Before reaching the village, we will visit some interesting sites. First, we'll explore the stone graves at Lemo, where tau-tau statues are positioned on high cliffs overlooking the lush valley of Toraja. Next, we'll head to the royal family tombs at Suaya. After that, we'll take a leisurely walk to see a giant tree that serves as a burial site for newborns who passed away before teething at Kambira.

After lunch, we will visit the Jesus effigy, which is taller than the one in Rio de Janeiro, offering breathtaking panoramic views from the hills. Then, we'll drive to the traditional carving village of Kete Kesu.

Finally, we will meet with a Toraja local family to prepare for dinner and settle in for our overnight stay.

Today, we will explore dairy farming and the interactions within local communities, particularly during significant cultural events such as wedding or funeral preparations.

Our learning will include rice farming and harvesting, observing traditional animal care, watching children play games, and discovering traditional crafts.

Bid farewell to the locals before taking on a scenic route to the waterfall. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool, pristine waters, which offer a natural therapeutic experience.

A simple lunch will be provided along the riverbank.

After reveling in the beauty of the waterfall, we will continue our journey to Lolai Plateau, renowned as the "Land Above the Clouds."

After savoring a renowned cloud scene, we will proceed to Batutumonga.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant situated on the slopes of Mount Sesean, where you can take in the stunning terraced rice fields and captivating mountain views.

Following lunch, we will explore the megalithic stones at Bori, which include large stone tombs and burial sites that date back centuries. These megaliths are closely linked to the funerary customs of the Toraja people.

In the late afternoon, we will return to the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast in the early morning, you will drive directly to the airport in Makassar for your onward flight to your next destination. There will be a few stops along the way, and you'll have lunch at a local restaurant.
