Route details

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, or if you are already staying in Colombo or Negombo, your driver will meet you directly at your hotel. From there, begin your scenic journey to Dambulla, which takes approximately 4–5 hours from Colombo (or less from Negombo).

Once you arrive, explore the remarkable Dambulla Cave Temple Complex, known for its beautifully preserved ancient Buddhist murals and statues carved into the caves.

After your visit, continue your drive to Sigiriya, located about 30 minutes from Dambulla. Here, you will begin your climb up the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the summit—be sure to allocate enough time for this unforgettable experience.

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
