I’ve been working as an outdoor guide since 2018, but my love for nature began long before that. Growing up, I spent countless days exploring the Hungarian countryside where my grandparents lived — discovering forests, rivers, and trails that sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Today, I share that passion by guiding hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and wild camping tours around Budapest and throughout Hungary. Over the years, I’ve led groups of all sizes, from small private adventures to team events with up to 100 participants. In addition to guiding, I’m also an enthusiastic trail runner who enjoys discovering new routes and landscapes on foot. Whether it’s a quiet paddle on a river, a challenging mountain bike ride, or a night under the stars, I aim to help others connect with nature, challenge themselves, and experience the freedom and beauty of the wild.

Route details

Departure from Budapest – Begin your adventure with a comfortable one-hour drive to the starting point in Dömös.

Enter the Rám Gorge – Hike through ancient volcanic terrain, crossing streams and climbing waterfalls via ladders.

Forest Walk & Wildlife – Explore serene beech and oak forests, home to rare species like the black woodpecker and wild cat.

Spring Refill & Return – Stop at a crystal-clear natural spring to refill your bottle, then head back full of fresh energy and lasting memories.

Tour provider's comments

The hike is not difficult, manageable for everybody who is generally fit, but good balance and stability on uneven surface is needed to enjoy the walk in the gorge. There are two short but steep uphill sections. Total distance is 8 kms with 300 meters elevation gain.
