I’ve been working as an outdoor guide since 2018, but my love for nature began long before that. Growing up, I spent countless days exploring the Hungarian countryside where my grandparents lived — discovering forests, rivers, and trails that sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Today, I share that passion by guiding hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and wild camping tours around Budapest and throughout Hungary. Over the years, I’ve led groups of all sizes, from small private adventures to team events with up to 100 participants. In addition to guiding, I’m also an enthusiastic trail runner who enjoys discovering new routes and landscapes on foot. Whether it’s a quiet paddle on a river, a challenging mountain bike ride, or a night under the stars, I aim to help others connect with nature, challenge themselves, and experience the freedom and beauty of the wild.

Route details

Start in Nagymaros – Meet in the romantic Danube Bend village and pick up your top-quality e-mountain bike.

Ride to Zebegény – Follow riverside cycling paths to this charming village, admiring the Danube’s calm beauty.

Forest Trails & Lookout Option – Ascend into the Börzsöny Mountains on quiet forest routes; optionally visit the Julianus Lookout Tower for panoramic river views.

Mountain Ride & Animal Park Stop – Enjoy a relaxed forest ride, stop at a meadow animal park for a drink and short break.

Return Descent & Riverside Pub – Cruise downhill toward the river, finishing the day with a refreshing drink at a cozy riverside pub before heading back.

Tour provider's comments

Distance: ~50 kms on mixed terrain, forest trails, gravel and low traffic roads. Good balance on the bike is needed to manage the forest trails. We don’t recommend the tour without good balance. There are uphill sections that require stamina. All in all it’s not a difficult trip, but requires fitness and stability with the bike.
