I’ve been working as an outdoor guide since 2018, but my love for nature began long before that. Growing up, I spent countless days exploring the Hungarian countryside where my grandparents lived — discovering forests, rivers, and trails that sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Today, I share that passion by guiding hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and wild camping tours around Budapest and throughout Hungary. Over the years, I’ve led groups of all sizes, from small private adventures to team events with up to 100 participants. In addition to guiding, I’m also an enthusiastic trail runner who enjoys discovering new routes and landscapes on foot. Whether it’s a quiet paddle on a river, a challenging mountain bike ride, or a night under the stars, I aim to help others connect with nature, challenge themselves, and experience the freedom and beauty of the wild.

Route details

You will be picked up from your hotel in Budapest and driven to a hidden forest campsite in the Hungarian wilderness, about one to two hours away.

Upon arrival, you will set up tents and hammocks, gather wood, and prepare your campsite with the guidance of your English-speaking mountain guide - optional hikes and walks around are organised. The highlight of the evening is preparing a traditional Hungarian dinner over an open fire, which can include meat, vegetarian options, or a combination. After dinner, you can relax by the campfire, listen to the peaceful sounds of the forest, stargaze, and enjoy the serenity of nature. The night is spent sleeping in tents or hammocks under the starry sky, fully immersed in the wilderness.

This adventure is not about challenges. We drive straight to the campsite. If you want to hide away on a hidden summit of a mountain thats also possible, but in that case you have to carry the camping stuff and the food/water with you.

It's important to know

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
