Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble
On the banks of the Aragvi, you will encounter Georgia's only fortress that has remained intact through the ages. As you explore the Ananuri defense complex, you'll feel transported back to the Middle Ages and discover the rich history of the Aragva eristavi (noble leaders). Be sure to visit the 17th-century Assumption Church, whose facade is adorned with intriguing bas-reliefs, each carrying a deeper meaning.
Pasanauri
Here, you'll witness the merging of two rivers (White and Black Aragvi), enjoy breathtaking views at the Arch of Friendship, and discover a unique mineral spring that flows like a golden river.
Kvesheti
Continue your journey to the Khada gorge in the village of Kvesheti, which serves as the sole route connecting Georgia to Russia via the Caucasus Mountains. Upon reaching the valley, your guide will present various hiking options based on your fitness level and desired duration (ranging from 3 to 7 hours). During your hike, you'll encounter sixty land towers, a mineral spring, ancient villages, an old castle, and alpine flora. A picnic can be arranged upon request. Afterward, you'll make your way back down the road to Tbilisi.
