Emerging from the Khmer Empire, the Kingdom of Cambodia is a captivating Southeast Asian destination. This cycling tour is the perfect way to explore a nation where bicycles are a primary mode of transport. Starting in Phnom Penh or Siem Reap, we’ll ride along backroads and village paths.
We’ll also discover lesser-known trails through local Khmer villages and hidden silversmith and pottery communities. This journey allows for an immersive experience of Cambodia's highlights, French colonial architecture, and the story of Felix Louis Bardez, who was tragically killed in 1925 while collecting overdue taxes. Alongside him, a militiaman and an interpreter also lost their lives. Finally, we’ll enjoy a boat ride from Battambang to Siem Reap, exploring floating villages and local culture on Tonle Sap Lake. This leisurely biking holiday offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the best of Cambodia.
