After the short transfer to the North of Phnom Penh, we saddle up our bike and have a brief about our first day on cycling trip through the riverside of Tonle Sap, explore the local villages, floating villages, paddy rice fields, lotus farms, fishing community, and connect a local artisan when we visit the silversmith workshop.

After we relax and refresh ourselves with coconut juice, we continue our cycle to the Oudong Temple. Oudong was a former royal capital of Cambodia from the 17th to the 19th centuries. It is located northwest of Phnom Penh. There are several of royal family stupas on the top of Oudong mountain include one temple for the Buddha’s status.

After having lunch and visiting Oudong temple, we have a private transfer around 2 hours to Chambok village where we will stay overnight there. Chambok is an ecotourism community in Kampong Speu Province, consisting of nine villages with around 3,000 inhabitants. Since 2002, Chambok Ecotourism now offers 51 homestays for tourists which gives you the chance to stay overnight and experience authentic Cambodian lifestyle. After relaxing and refreshing at our homestay, we have an easy walk through the village to see the village life at twilight and learn more about the local culture before we go to a community restaurant for dinner. You will enjoy local dinners cooked by a group of women who are passionate and love their job and for improving their living conditions too. We will stay overnight in this community which greatly benefits local farmers and villagers.
