Join our day trek through the primary forest of Kirirom National Park, where we'll ascend through pine woods to reach a cliff offering breathtaking views of the Cardamom Mountain Range, before descending to the secluded Chambok Ecotourism Community waterfall. Kirirom National Park, situated on a 700-meter hill, spans over 35,000 hectares in the Elephant Mountains. The name 'Kirirom,' which translates to Mountain of Joy, was bestowed by the King of Cambodia. This high-altitude plateau is renowned for its unique elevated pine forests, which serve as the source for many streams that nourish Kampong Speu Town. The park is also home to several endangered species, including the Pleated gibbon, sun bear, and tiger, along with a variety of forest birds.
