Tour provider's comments

This trekking program follows a long-distance mountain route between Khinalig and Laza, crossing remote alpine terrain. While the trek does not involve technical climbing, it is rated moderate to challenging due to long walking days, significant elevation changes, and variable mountain weather.

Participants should have good physical fitness, feel comfortable hiking for several hours per day, and have prior experience on uneven mountain trails. Expect steep ascents and descents, rocky paths, and river crossings that require balance, stamina, and proper footwear.

Safety guidelines include staying with the group, following the guide’s instructions, and adjusting the pace according to weather and group conditions. Weather in the Caucasus Mountains can change quickly, bringing wind, rain, fog, or cold temperatures. Due to limited mobile coverage and the remoteness of the terrain, emergency services may not be immediately accessible. Therefore, careful planning, experienced guiding, and appropriate equipment are essential for participant safety.
