There’s a silence in the high country that speaks louder than words — the kind found only above the tree line, where wind sweeps across ancient granite and snow gums bow to the sky. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to stand on Victoria’s top, this is your invitation to find out.
This trek is your unique chance to explore the eternal beauty of Three Peaks: Mt. Dunn, Mt. Bogong, and Mt. Feathertop. Each mountain brings its own character — from the rolling alpine plains of Mt. Buffalo to the jagged spine of the Razorback leading to Feathertop’s summit. Along the way, walk through peppermint forests, snow gum woodlands, and highland meadows. With 55 km of trail underfoot and some of the most stunning views in the country ahead, the rewards come as much from the journey as the altitude.
Travel in a small group led by experienced guides, rest in comfortable local lodgings, and enjoy delicious meals that fuel your days. This is a tour designed for strong legs and open hearts. Join and walk with us — the mountains are waiting!

Tour highlights

Route details
Leaving Melbourne behind, we journey north through the rolling Victorian countryside, passing by the historic towns of Seymour and Glenrowan—where Ned Kelly made his final stand in 1880. By midday, we arrive at Porepunkah and ascend into the dramatic high country of Mount Buffalo National Park.
After lunch beside the peaceful waters of Lake Catani, we lace up our boots for our first walk: a return hike to Mt. Dunn. Set among subalpine plains and tall alpine ash forests, this trail offers a gentle yet rewarding challenge. At the summit, panoramic views across the Mt. Buffalo plateau make the climb worthwhile.
We end our first day with a short drive to Bright, where we settle into tranquil riverside accommodation. Unwind among the trees before gathering for a delicious two-course dinner prepared by our guides.
