Ta Chi Nhu, the roof of Yen Bai, is situated in Xa Ho village, Tram Tau district. Standing at an elevation of 2,979 meters above sea level, this mountain ranks seventh among Vietnam’s highest peaks and is popularly known as “Cloudy Heaven on Earth”. From its summit, you can reach out and almost touch the clouds. The sky above is often filled with soft, silk-like clouds that drift around the mountain, creating a mesmerizing, ethereal atmosphere. A particularly breathtaking view occurs in late autumn when vast fields of purple flowers bloom across the mountain slopes. Here, majestic mountains are cloaked in a sea of violet, with local H’mong people tending to grazing goats and horses nearby. This scene feels like stepping into a fairy tale—an untouched natural wonder full of magic and serenity.

Had an excellent hike up Fansipan. Minh was a great guide, excellent English and very experienced (he sumbited Fansipan over 1000 times). The route was very well maintained and not too difficult to navigate. We got the gondala down but you can easily hike up and down in a day if you wanted to. Communication with Gio was good as well.

My niece and I are were visiting Vietnam for about 3 weeks, and this was the highlight of our trip! The team kept us updated from before arrival to Vietnam up until minutes before our tour! Our tour guide, Mrs. Chi, was so accommodating, ensuring every part of the tour would allow us to make the most of it despite unexpected foggy conditions. She explained everything along the entirety of the tour and made sure we could cross any difficult parts of the trek. If you are considering going to Sa Pa, be sure to book this tour! You won’t regret it!
