As the train rocks gently through the night, you leave the noise of Hanoi behind and head north into the misty highlands of Vietnam. Dawn breaks over the mountains of Lao Cai, where terraced rice fields and cloud-draped valleys announce your arrival in Sapa — the gateway to the land of hill tribes and timeless traditions.
Your trek begins in the Muong Hoa Valley, where winding paths lead you through H’mong villages, riverside trails, and endless terraces sculpted into the hillsides. A warm lunch with a local family offers a glimpse into everyday life before continuing on to Ta Van village, home of the Dzay people. Here, a family homestay welcomes you for the night — a chance to share meals, laughter, and stories in the heart of rural Vietnam.
The next morning, the journey continues through bamboo groves, waterfalls, and bridges woven from rattan, with visits to Red Dzao and H’mong communities in Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan. By afternoon, return to Sapa and onward to the train station, carrying memories of landscapes and cultures that will stay with you forever. Join us on this trek and discover the magic of Sapa’s valleys and its people!

- DRDaniel R.about provider16 May, 2025We had such a great motorbike tour with Tom and his friend! The scenery was stunning, and they shared lots of interesting stories about the places we visited. We always felt safe on the ride, and they took us to hidden, authentic spots we would have never found on our own. Definitely recommend!!!
- MMichaelabout provider4 Mar, 2025Tai is a skilled guide and rider, and I really enjoyed riding with him. What made it even better was that the company made sure my wife and daughter, who don’t ride, could still join and have a great time.
- SLSophie Lambergabout provider20 Aug, 2024I joined the Hike and Bike tour to Langbiang Mountain and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Jim, my guide, was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and what I really appreciated, he respected the silence of nature and let me enjoy long quiet moments during the hike (it was just the two of us). Most of the hike goes through a stunning pine forest, and the view from the top is absolutely worth the effort. The mountain bike I got was outstanding, honestly the best I’ve ever ridden, which made climbing uphill surprisingly easy most of the time. Be ready though: this tour isn’t for the faint-hearted. The trails are steep, always up or down, and the pine needles can be slippery underfoot. My only real downside was the cycling section, which took place entirely on busy roads. I would have loved to ride on quieter paths outside the city instead.
