Route details

Your journey to Bwindi starts at Kigali International Airport, where our guide will greet you and take you to Bwindi Forest. You can either travel through the Cyanika border post to reach the southern part of Bwindi in Rushaga or depart from Kigali city and cross the Katuna border post to arrive at Ruhija in the northern sector of Bwindi National Park. The route you take will depend on the availability of gorilla permits in each area of the park.

Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at Buhoma Lodge, Bwindi Lodge, or Gorilla Safari Lodge (luxury option), or you can opt for budget-friendly lodging in Kabale with basic amenities.
