Day 1
Journey to Sipi Falls and Coffee Experience

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kampala as you travel east through Uganda’s beautiful countryside toward the scenic Sipi Falls region at the foothills of Mt. Elgon. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes of rolling hills, plantations, and rural villages that offer a glimpse into everyday life in eastern Uganda. Upon arrival in Kapchorwa and the Sipi area, you will settle into your lodge and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch before taking time to relax and appreciate the cool mountain atmosphere.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the region’s rich coffee culture with a guided community coffee tour. You will visit local farms where Arabica coffee is grown on the fertile slopes of Mt. Elgon and learn about the traditional coffee-making process from cultivation and harvesting to roasting and grinding. The experience offers an authentic connection with the local community, topped off with the opportunity to taste freshly brewed local coffee. After the tour, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful scenery of Sipi.
