Route details

Following an early breakfast in Entebbe, we will travel by van to Nakiwogo to catch a ferry to Kasanje. Alternatively, we can take a round trip to Kasanje via Kawuku before heading to Mabamba Swamp for a shoebill stork tour. This excursion includes paddling and trekking to observe the shoebill stork, which is known for being elusive. However, the Mabamba wetlands are renowned as one of the best locations to see these birds in their natural habitat.

After our trek and birdwatching experience, we will return to Entebbe, concluding our trip.
