Meemure is a traditional mountain village of about 420 people, accessible by only one scenic road from Hunnasgiriya. Despite its isolation, the landscapes here — thick jungles, cascading waterfalls, misty hills, and crystal-clear rivers — remain untouched and unforgettable.

Over three days you’ll trek jungle trails, discover hidden falls, enjoy natural rock pool swims at Suriya Arana, and camp under the stars with BBQ dinners and campfires by the river. Authentic meals use ingredients sourced from the village and surrounding forests.

Route details

Arrive at the base office in Meemure (or travel by private vehicle).
A traditional buffet lunch, prepared by the village chefs, awaits your arrival — a taste of authentic mountain hospitality.

After lunch, it’s time to switch into adventure mode. Begin your guided jungle trek, walking beneath the canopy through thick forest trails alive with bird calls and the scent of earth and rain. You’ll encounter hidden waterfalls, crystal streams, and lush scenery before returning to the campsite.

Settle in for the evening at your private campsite or guesthouse, then unwind around a campfire under the stars. A BBQ dinner filled with local flavors completes the first day in paradise.
