Route details

Depart from Kandy at 7:30 AM, passing Victoria Reservoir, rice terraces, and tea plantations.
Begin your trek toward Corbett’s Gap Viewpoint, through pygmy forests and misty cloud forests alive with birdsong.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by mountain views.
In the afternoon, continue on foot or drive up to the Sri Lanka Trekking Sky Camp, where dinner and your overnight stay under the stars await.

A challenging climb up tall misty mountains through rapidly changing weather. The path to and from the peaks of the mountain tend to be quite steep and are challenging. Requires average fitness to complete this two day trek.
