A breath of cold mountain air waits beyond the rush of Seoul. Seoraksan rises in sharp granite peaks, forested valleys, and clear mountain streams — a landscape shaped by time and silence.

On this private journey, you travel three hours by comfortable vehicle to Seoraksan National Park. Ride the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress, 700 meters above sea level, where wide views stretch across the mountains. Continue to Sinheungsa Temple, an old Buddhist temple resting quietly on the slopes. If you prefer, you may spend more time walking the park’s scenic trails.

With private round-trip transport and a licensed English-speaking guide, the day unfolds at your own pace. Step away from the city and discover a side of Korea many visitors never see!

With 70 percent of its landscape being mountains, Korea is a veritable playground for hiking enthusiasts. Seoul is one of few cities in the world which has easily accessible mountains in its metropolitan area. There are several gorgeous mountains in Seoul and the surrounding suburban areas. Seoul’s most prominent peak is Mt. Bukhansan. Additionally, there are many stunning mountains like Mt. Seoraksan, Mr. Jirisan, Mr. Odesan, etc. within a couple of hours’ drive by car. There is no better way to really get up close and experience Korea's picturesque outdoors than hiking. Our goal is to aid international hiking enthusiasts in experiencing the real nature of Korea as well as Korean culture and life through hiking, trekking and backpacking. Lack of thorough hiking information can make access to mountains more difficult for international hikers.
