Pisco Peak, located in the heart of Peruâs Cordillera Blanca within the Huandoy massif, has two summits: the rarely climbed East Peak and the more popular West Peak, a classic among climbers. Known as the "balcony of the Cordillera Blanca," it offers spectacular 360° views of the region's most iconic mountains. From the summit, climbers can see Caraz, Huandoy, Chacraraju, Alpamayo, Santa Cruz, and the majestic HuascarĂĄn.
Pisco is a relatively easy climb, with the normal route being accessible for most climbers. It's often chosen for acclimatization before tackling higher peaks or as a rewarding final destination for trekkers in the Andes. Its manageable climb and stunning vistas make it a favorite in the Cordillera Blanca.
