Nanga Parbat Base Camp Expedition

The itinerary for the Fairy Meadows Tour would have been finalized prior to the trek. Flights to Gilgit depend on weather conditions, so the preferred route is along the Karakoram Highway, which runs beside the Indus River. The journey starts from Taxila and goes through Haripur, Mansehra, Besham, and Kohistan.

We will stop for lunch upon arriving in Besham. You should be prepared for a long day of travel, as the roads can be rough and mountainous. The drive to Chilas will take approximately 10 to 12 hours, and dinner will be provided at the hotel in Chilas.

We will go on the Fairy Meadows Trek early in the morning. The journey from Raikot Bridge to Chilas City takes approximately one hour.

At Raikot, we will board jeeps to travel along the jeep track to Tatu Village, where they can capture videos of the ride, which is a favorite among both local and international tourists.

The jeep track concludes at Tatu Village, after which we will hike for 3-4 hours to reach the meadows.

Upon arriving at Fairy Meadows, we will feel rejuvenated, transforming our tired expressions into those of refreshment and joy.

Breakfast will be provided in cozy wooden huts. On this day of the Fairy Meadows Trek, we can enjoy some personal time. They may choose to stay at the camp all day or venture out for a short hike to explore the meadows.

There are also opportunities to engage with locals, work on travel diaries, paint, draw, sketch, or capture photographs after a long walk the previous day. The night sky offers stunning star gazing, and both sunrise and sunset views in the meadows are breathtaking.

Lunch and dinner will be served at the camp, with overnight accommodations also in the huts.

On the following day, we have the opportunity to go on a trek to the impressive Nanga Parbat Base Camp. This trek is optional, allowing those who prefer to relax in Fairy Meadows or engage in other activities to do so.

The trek to the Nanga Parbat Base Camp, reaching an elevation of 3,850 m (12,631 ft.), offers a fantastic chance to experience the grandeur of this towering peak, although it presents its own challenges.

We will spend the night in Fairy Meadows.

Arrival in Islamabad will take place in the evening, followed by a transfer to the hotel.

After a week of exploring, we will settle into our accommodations in Islamabad and take some time to relax. This will allow us to recharge after our journey. The hotel will provide a comfortable environment for us to unwind and reflect on our experiences.

Most international flights depart after midnight so our team will drop-off you at the airport as per your flight schedule.
