Route details
Today we head to Mt. Hutt, one of New Zealand’s premier ski areas, located near Methven on the South Island, about 90 km from Christchurch. Covering 365 hectares, it offers over 40 trails and a vertical drop of 683 meters, with terrain suitable for every level of skier and snowboarder. The resort features modern lifts, a snowmaking system, and a ski school. Facilities include a day lodge with dining and rental services. Open from June to October, Mt. Hutt is known for its reliable snowfall, panoramic views, and lively calendar of events.
