There’s something special about the ride from Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley — the way the river keeps you company, the quiet of the trail, the mountains opening up around every bend. This e-bike tour lets you enjoy it all at an easy pace, without rushing or getting tired, just taking in the scenery as it comes.

You’ll follow the riverbank paths, roll across old bridges and two beautiful suspension bridges, and stop at the Kawarau Bungy Bridge to watch the brave ones jump. The route then leads through the gorge toward the vineyards, where a relaxed wine tasting awaits at a local winery.

With pedal-assist bikes, a friendly guide, and a support shuttle nearby if you feel like taking a break, the whole day feels smooth and unhurried. It’s a simple, scenic way to explore one of Central Otago’s most beautiful corners — and a lovely mix of fresh air, movement, and good wine in a good company.

This is available as a private tour for $1,530 for up to 5 pax, any additional bikers are $255 per person.
Child $175.
