Route details

Leave Marrakech at 8 am and journey through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka Pass, which stands at 2,260 meters.

As you travel, you'll pass through Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert and Morocco’s cinematic hub. Continue onward to the Draa Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and traditional ksars.

In the evening, arrive in Nesrat, where you'll meet your camel team. Experience your first night beneath the stars in a cozy desert camp.

We went for a 5-day trekking in mid-January and it was amazing! We were lucky with nice sunny weather and good hiking conditions. Above all, we were very happy with the guiding and the great cooking. The guys were friendly and respectful, and we had some good laughs along the way, whilst we also learned a few words of Berber-Amazigh. We had three different stays in guest houses, starting very basic before getting more luxury later on. The communication upfront with Hamid was very smooth and punctual.

From start to finish the whole service from Imlil trekking was fantastic. Hamid helped make the most of the time we were there. The hike and views were stunning and this was capped off with a great lunch provided at his house, even going the extra mile to accommodate a vegetarian option at late notice for my wife. Thanks again Hamid!!!
