Route details
Meeting point is at 10:00 AM with pick-up from your hotel or hostel. The journey begins with a trip to Terelj, one of Mongolia’s most popular and scenic national parks. En route, make a stop at an Ovoo (sacred stone cairn), traditionally used for religious offerings. Upon arrival in Terelj, explore the area and visit the famous Turtle Rock—a natural rock formation that resembles a turtle and serves as a symbol of the park.
Next, continue to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, perched atop a hill and encircled by dramatic rocky peaks. In the evening, visit and stay with a local nomadic family, get a glimpse into their daily life, and taste freshly prepared dairy products. Spend the night in a traditional Mongolian ger (yurt) for an authentic cultural experience.

It's important to know
You will need an entry visa on your passport to travel to Mongolia. It can be obtained from the Mongolian Embassy or Consular in your country if there is one. In case you have some difficulties, please contact us or one-month tourist visas can be obtained on-the-spot at arrival in Mongolia (airport and railway customs clearance), although the visa situation is subject to change from time-to-time.
